Hello friends of The Hollywood Lawyer! This Wednesday we want to share how the TyC Sports Network decided to poke a little bit of fun at Donald Trump.
In the summer, thousands of Latin Americans will visit the US to attend the Copa Centenario. As Trump has previously expressed his fear of such a wave of Latin Americans descending upon the US, the TyC Network decided to use Trump as the messenger of a viral advert for the upcoming 2016 Copa America.
Released by an Argentinian TV Channel, the advert for the special 100-year anniversary edition of the soccer tournament intercuts extracts from Trump’s infamous “wall” speech with footage of Argentina’s national team.
Trump’s rhetoric is dubbed over footage of an unstoppable football team – and the results are powerful:
