Remember a few weeks ago when we told you our extra, special news? The FREE workshop for legal and tax help at CAZT studio? Well even MORE great news– we will be hosting a second FREE workshop later next month!
The Hollywood Lawyer will be partnering up with LA’s biggest casting director workshop studio, Actors Key (www.actorskey.com), Moe Law Group (www.moelawgroup.com), and a reputable CPA to host a free legal and tax workshop for actors on Thursday, October 22nd @ 7pm at Actors Key Studio (3504 W Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, CA 91506).
The Hollywood Lawyer will be covering the legal basics of what every actor should know as a working actor (i.e., SAG-AFTRA, being on set, talent deals). Moe Law Group will covering immigration basics that non-US citizen/resident actors should know, including what visas to apply for and what to expect. And our partner CPA will provide guidance on how actors should properly keep record of their expenditures and deductions and file taxes.
