A self-proclaimed pop culture and entertainment enthusiast, Rebecca is a Bay Area native and relative recent LA transplant. She studied Mass Communications, Ethnic Studies, and Korean language & culture at UC Berkeley and spent years traveling around the world, living in Seoul, Tel Aviv, and London. She spent six years as an English teacher/grammar enforcer/professional entertainer in classrooms across the Bay Area and Seoul and has now retired from teaching to explore other interests in LA. Along with working for The Hollywood Lawyer, Rebecca coordinates financial aid and grants for community programming through a major national nonprofit and serves as an editor/writer for two nonprofit publications. She also maintains her own online stores focused on thrifty, designer fashion, “The Chick Goes Cheap.”
