Music Mondays – Artist Jacquees just got sued for not promoting a concert on Instagram

After singer Jacquees failed to post twice onto Instagram advertising his concerts in New Jersey, the booking company canceled his show and slammed him with a lawsuit for violating the terms of the contract.

Besides not publishing the specific post onto Instagram, he also booked a second performance on the same night in a different city, forcing the concert to re-booked to a later date. When Jacquees failed to comply with the second contract twice, Ill Intent Entertainment canceled his show.

“In addition to spending thousands on deposits and promotion for Jacquees, Ill Intent Entertainment alleges that they lost an investor and a substantial amount of revenue ($101,000, to be exact) because they had to adjust their concert schedule to account for Jacquees’s failure to perform.”

Jacquees, whose full name is Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax, is 25-years-old and has already worked with Chris Brown and Trinidad James on his second EP. Neither he nor his lawyer has commented on this suit.
